Your Role Will Include:
• Conducting Engaging Assessments: Dive deep into each client’s world to identify strengths and areas for growth, crafting personalized therapy plans that resonate with both children and young adults.
• Leading Fun Therapy Sessions: Bring your creativity to life by conducting dynamic individual and group therapy sessions that inspire clients and promote skill development.
• Crafting Meaningful IEPs: Develop impactful Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and comprehensive reports that highlight each client’s progress and future goals.
• Building Strong Connections: Collaborate closely with parents and guardians, sharing insights and strategies that support their child’s and young adult’s development.
• Participating in Team Synergy: Engage in enriching team meetings where ideas flow, interventions are refined, and everyone’s contributions are valued.
• Maintaining Clear Records: Keep meticulous documentation of client interactions, ensuring smooth case management and continuity of care.
• Sharing Knowledge: Conduct engaging workshops and training sessions for teachers, parents, and caregivers, fostering a community of support and understanding.
• Weekend Availability: Flexibility to work on Saturdays, helping us provide consistent care for our clients.
What You Bring:
• Educational Background: A Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Certification: AHPC Certification
• Experience: While previous pediatric experience is not mandatory, any exposure to working with children and young adults will be a plus!
