Hazel graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Deans Honours List. Hazel has a total of 12 years of experience as an occupational therapist, of which she has working with children in both the private and government setting for the past 11 years.
She has a passion for working with children and adolescents with varying clinical diagnoses inclusive of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Intellectually Disabled. Oppositional Defiant Disorder, sensory processing challenges, Global Developmental Delay, speech and language delays and Selective Mutism.

- Allied Health Professionals Council (Fully Certified)
- Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT) Certified
- NDT/Bobath Certificate Course in the Management and Treatment of Children with Cerebral Palsy and Other Neuromotor Disorders
- Therapeutic Listening certified
- Certified: Basic DIR
She believes that every child has their own unique strengths and abilities and establishing rapport with every client is just as important as communicating closely with the parents, caregivers and teachers to support and optimize the functional abilities of the clients.
