Jonathan Jerryl Ang
Educational Therapist
“Hello, I’m Jonathan—though most people call me Jon!
I am an Educational Therapist at KidzOTC, and my work is guided by a simple but powerful belief: “Change your thoughts, change your life.” This idea, shared by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, reminds me that when children begin to see themselves as capable learners, real transformation can happen—not just in school, but in how they see themselves.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting a wide range of learners, mostly between the ages of 5 to 12, with some up to 18 years old. I specialize in building up children’s English literacy skills—whether it is learning to read, improving writing, or gaining confidence in sentence construction. I use the Orton-Gillingham (OG) approach, which is especially helpful for children who learn best through structured, multi-sensory methods.
With younger children, I focus on laying strong foundations in reading and spelling. For older students, I provide practical strategies for tackling comprehension and writing tasks—especially as they prepare for school exams.
I regularly work with children who learn differently, including those with dyslexia, ADHD, or autism spectrum conditions. Each session is tailored to your child’s learning needs and personality. My goal is to create a space where your child feels safe, supported, and encouraged—not just to catch up, but to thrive.
If you are looking for someone who will meet your child where they are, and help them build both skills and self-belief, I would be honoured to be part of their journey.”
