Jonathan Jerryl Ang
Educational Therapist
“Hello, I’m Jonathan — but most people call me Jon!
I hold close a simple yet powerful belief shared by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer: ‘Change your thoughts, change your life.’
When children begin to see themselves as capable learners, transformation happens — not just in their schoolwork, but in how they view themselves and what they believe they can achieve.
My goal is to create a space where every child feels safe, supported, and encouraged — not only to catch up, but to truly thrive.”

Jonathan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Singapore University of Social Sciences and has additional training in emergency response, crisis management, and youth support services.
At KidzOTC, he works with learners aged 5 to 18, with a strong focus on ages 5 to 12. With younger children, he builds foundational reading and spelling skills; with older students, he provides practical strategies for comprehension and writing — especially valuable during exam preparation.
He has supported children with dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, and other learning differences. Every session is carefully tailored to match the child’s unique learning style, strengths, and personality.
- Orton-Gillingham Practitioner — Structured, multisensory literacy intervention

Jonathan is passionate about empowering young learners by nurturing their potential, building resilience, and cultivating intrinsic motivation. His mission is to guide and inspire children to achieve success in ways that reflect their individual strengths, interests, and aspirations.
Outside of therapy, Jonathan is a passionate photographer, a craft that mirrors the same qualities he brings to his work with children — patience, observation, and attention to detail. Just as capturing the perfect image often means waiting for the right light and angle, Jonathan believes meaningful progress happens when we slow down, look closer, and understand each child’s unique perspective.
This mindset shapes his sessions. He uses stories, humour, and encouragement to make learning enjoyable and relatable, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth. Parents often share that his calm, steady presence helps children feel at ease quickly — turning therapy into a positive, confidence-building journey.
