Calligraphy for Every Learner
04 Dec 24 @ 1pm-4pm
$120.00
Students are often rushed to complete worksheets and essays in school. In this frenzied pace, many develop poor handwriting habits. One approach to counter this is to slow down the process, allowing students to consider the importance of effective communication. The art of calligraphy encourages fluidity not only in letter strokes but also in the thought process. It helps students appreciate presenting the written word in a way that conveys care for the reader’s perspective. Calligraphy reminds writers that their work reflects themselves to the reader.
At the same time, it addresses pen grip, understanding directionality in letter formation, letter strokes, sizing, spacing, and the application of strength. This workshop is targeted at young writers aged 10 to 14. Materials and equipment are included as part of the fees.
Availability: 6 slots available. Max 6 students per class (min 3 students to start a session)
