Zarine Khan Wong
Educational Therapist
“As both an educational therapist and a mother of two boys (one with ADHD), I understand the importance of patience, empathy, and creativity in supporting children who learn differently. My passion is helping students gain confidence in their learning, particularly in building stronger mathematical skills, so that they feel capable not just in schoolwork, but in everyday life.”

Zarine specialises in supporting children and adolescents with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences, with a strong focus on:
- Mathematical skills development
- Executive functioning skills
- Attention, regulation, and resilience-building
Her dual perspective as both a therapist and a parent gives her a unique understanding of the challenges families face, and she applies practical, compassionate strategies to guide children toward growth.
Zarine keeps her practice current through professional development, including:

- Six Bricks Play Practitioner (Levels 1 & 2, 2024)

What is Six Bricks?
Six Bricks is a hands-on tool for learning — a pedagogical approach developed by Care for Education in partnership with the LEGO® Foundation. Through fun and short activities with sets of LEGO® DUPLO® bricks in six bright colours, children can practice their memory, movement, creativity, and more.
- Diploma in Applied Food Science and Nutrition — Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore
- Diploma in Pre-School Education – Teaching — Merit Award for Outstanding Performance, Asian International College
- Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care and Development — Asian International College
Zarine believes that mathematics doesn’t have to be intimidating. By teaching concepts in clear, multisensory, and engaging ways, she helps students not only build skill but also develop confidence and perseverance.
For her, success is not just about “getting the right answer”—it’s about fostering problem-solving skills, resilience, and a positive mindset that children can carry into all aspects of life.
One of Zarine’s hobbies is building LEGO® creations. After visiting Billund, Denmark — the birthplace of LEGO® — with her family, she became inspired to explore how play can be woven into daily learning.
This love of play translates into her sessions, where she combines evidence-based strategies with fun, creative approaches to keep children engaged.
As a mother, she draws inspiration from her two boys—especially her journey supporting her son with ADHD. She continues to pursue professional courses and workshops to stay abreast of developments in her field, always bringing both dedication and empathy to the children and families she works with.
